To determine if you have an eye allergy, we will do an eye exam and a patient history review during your annual or biannual visit.

Fall eye allergies are caused by spores, pollen, and particles released by trees, grass, and other plants. Histamines and other chemicals are released when allergens reach the body. Some people will experience burning, itching, and other forms of eye irritation. Swollen and leaking blood vessels can also be caused by histamines, and this could lead to inflammation of the eyes.
